tableware that challenges your eating preconceptions

In 2012 Steinbeisser launched the Experimental Gastronomy initiative, bringing renowned chefs and international artists together to realize a one-of-a-kind creative, gastronomic happening. For these events artists create unique, bespoke and experimental cutlery and dishwater. These pieces don͛t follow the normal rules of usability, they celebrate experimentation and search for new ways to enjoy food. They challenge to reconsider the preconceptions about the relationship between tableware and the user. They can be loved for their thought provoking function but also for their beauty.

Steinbeisser challenges the contemporary eating culture. Each event is a unique experience. Food and drinks are always entirely plant-based (vegan). In addition all ingredients are sourced from Biodynamic (Demeter) and organic agriculture in the direct surroundings.
