Zofia Skoroszewska
Zofia Skoroszewska is a Polish born artist and body adornment designer. She holds a BA from the Gerrit Rietveld Academie, Amsterdam and an MA in Jewellery and Metal from the Royal College of Art, London.
Zofia sees jewellery as a direct but intimate way to communicate with the world. She does this through considering the relationships that interweave the material and immaterial, the poetic and the body. With her practice she explores the liminal space between the material and the digital, taking inspiration from historical references, adolescent nostalgia and autoethnography.

Setting out to blur the lines of distinction amidst the physical and the immaterial, Zofia merges what is emotional with the technological by creating work using analogue, labour intensive techniques that reference the information age. Her choice of materials are carefully selected to help us consider the crumbling nature of the structures that govern these worlds.
