Shipping and Return Policy
Current Obsession (Jewellery in Culture Foundation) serves as an artistic platform for discovering distinctive items. We operate as a marketplace for many Artists around the globe. Each piece is offered by independent Artists, allowing you to directly endorse the artists and designers you admire. When you purchase an item on our site, we will contact and keep communications with the Artist and you will receive the item directly from them. Please understand that the shipping costs and delivery times are approximations, and may differ based on the Artist’s location. Each Artist employs their packaging and shipping provider.
Refer to the section “Shipping Details” on each product page for details on the shipment’s origin, shipping expenses, and production times for made-to-order items. Shipment fees cannot be combined if items are ordered from different Artists and therefore, ordering items from different Artists may result in higher shipping costs.
Shipping
Upon completing the purchase of an item on our site, an email containing all the details will be sent to you. It’s important to be aware that Current Obsession cannot be held responsible for missed deliveries and retains the right to impose shipping fees for unclaimed packages.
The shipping fees are thoughtfully designed to cover the majority of shipments, aiming to provide fairness and affordability to our customers. In some cases, certain customer addresses may require additional shipping costs, particularly for remote locations or specialized delivery needs. We are dedicated to transparency and will notify you of any extra charges through email, offering the option to cancel the order if necessary.
Tracking
Upon shipment by the Artist, an email with tracking details will be sent to you. You are responsible for monitoring your parcel’s status. Customs or taxes may apply upon delivery, and failure to pay may result in return of the parcel at your expense. Failure to settle these charges promptly could lead to the return of your parcel, and you may be held responsible for the taxes incurred by the Artist.
Taxes & Duties
Kindly note that product prices and shipping costs exclude taxes and import duties. These charges may be imposed upon reaching the destination country, and customers are responsible for payment. Check the “Shipping Details” on the product page(s) to determine the item’s location. Neglecting to do so may result in the item being returned, with taxes and return costs deducted from your refund. Current Obsession is unable to accurately estimate and collect import duties. For an estimate, you can use online calculators like Simply Duty: https://www.simplyduty.com/import-calculator/. Keep in mind that these values are estimates, and discrepancies may exist, such as not including carrier admin surcharges.
Returns
Items purchased on the Current Obsession Webshop are returnable or exchangeable within 14 days of delivery under certain conditions. To initiate a return or exchange, please contact:

Note that jewellery and adornment items may be exempt from our return and refund policy. You have the right to open the package. Any item to be returned must be unworn and unsused, in their original condition, with all tags and packaging intact for eligibility. Earrings cannot be returned or exchanged for hygienic reasons. Please be aware that the Artist(s) may reserve the right to accept or reject the return of items. All returning shipping fees are to be coveted by the customer.
Note that all shipments and items are insured during delivery by the Artist. If you receive an item significantly different from the description or experience a delayed delivery, or the rare scenario of a damaged item upon arrival, we’ll collaborate with you and the Artist for a resolution.
