My collection is about stream of consciousness and memories. Getting inspired by objects on Sigmund Freud’s desk and by pareidolia, the subconscious tendency to see familiar patterns, particularly faces, in unfamiliar objects. My collection is constructed with different characters referring to mythology and history, I have created a story line of personified pieces, each of them made of materials sourced by myself from different travels, which defy traditional classifications such as man-made and natural.The journeys that they have undergone coalesce within the pieces to suggest an underlying connectivity.
