OBSESSED! Jewellery Festival is an biannual festival that carefully strings together various jewellery related events, with the upcoming edition taking place throughout Amsterdam. OBSESSED! began as an attempt to connect, promote and discuss a number of significant, yet uncoordinated jewellery events in The Netherlands. The festival aims to boost public interest in the local artistic jewellery scene and to help re-establish The Netherlands as a leading creative force in the field of contemporary jewellery and body-related practices.
The festival programming invites a multidisciplinary and experimental approach, including all event genres connected to the broad field of jewellery and body adornment.
For the next edition, we are looking for a new Obsessed! Work Group consisting of enthusiastic and creative makers who contribute to the festival by seeing where activation in the programme is most needed and collectively co-curating events.
Who are you?
An Amsterdam-based Curator, Education professional, Maker, Journalist/Writer or Content Creator with a big heart for contemporary jewellery, body-related practices and cultural initiatives.
