JEWELLERY BE LIKE is a continuous body of work that started as a degree project in 2016. It is rooted in a fascination for the capability of jewellery to embody basic human emotions like love, vanity and death. I am interested in the meme-like properties of jewellery where value is understood through collective ideas around symbolism, spirituality and desirability. The process of making jewellery is for me a way to understand how these values are connected to craft tradition and the concept of skill and creativity.
